Place a medium-large pan on medium heat. *Do NOT add oil unless necessary (beyond burgers have plenty of oil that come out and help it while cooking).
Once heated, place the Beyond burger patties directly onto the pan.
Flip the burgers halfway through until cooked well, about 10-15 minutes total.
While the burgers cook, begin prepping the toppings.
Slice tomato into desired thin strips and set aside.
Mash avocado into a small bowl and add seasonings like salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, to desired taste.
Once the burgers are cooked on both sides add vegan cheese slice or shreds to each patty and allow time to melt (~3-5 minutes).
To speed up melting process you can add about 1-2 tbsp. of water and cover.
Warm burger buns.
